Prof. Bülent Kent, Vice Rector of ASBU and Director of Competition and Regulation Studies Application and Research Center, delivered his speech titled "Social Media Regulations in Germany and Turkey" on November 1, 2021 at the Turkish Radio and Television Supreme Council. Prof. Kent came together with the Turkish Radio and Tevision Supreme Council staff for discussing social media regulations. Over the course his speech, Prof. Kent highlighted the importance of fake news and social media’s transformative impact on society. After comparing the Turkish and German legislations and cases, Prof. Kent expressed that social media regulations pave the way for social peace and tranquility of society.
