He graduated from İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialist training in psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Atatürk University. He continues his academic research in biological psychiatry, neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioral addictions and cyberpsychology.
