Dr. Mahmut Furkan Balaban

Dr. Mahmut Furkan Balaban serves as Director of Legal Affairs and Regulation and as a lawyer at Netgsm. He also lectures in Private Law at Hacettepe University, teaching Artificial Intelligence Law and Personal Data Protection Law. He completed his undergraduate law degree at Yıldırım Beyazıt University’s Faculty of Law in 2016, his master’s degree in Private Law at Ufuk University in 2019, and his doctorate in Public Law–Information Technology Law at the Social Sciences University of Ankara in 2023.

He also worked as a lecturer at Ufuk University between 2019 and 2022. He continues his work in information technology law, electronic communications law, artificial intelligence law, personal data protection law and e-commerce law.
