Muhammet Emirhan Havan

Born in 1997, Muhammet Emirhan Havan graduated from Galatasaray University’s Faculty of Law in 2021. In the same year, he enrolled in the Private Law Master’s Program with Thesis at Galatasaray University’s Institute of Social Sciences, completing the program in 2023 with a thesis entitled “Personal Data as the Subject Matter of a Contract”. During his master’s studies, he worked as a research assistant in Civil Law at Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Law between 2021 and 2023.

After completing his master’s degree, he continued his doctoral research on “Assignment of Receivables in Project Finance” at the University of Fribourg/Freiburg in Switzerland under the supervision of Prof. Pascal Pichonnaz, as a YLSY scholarship recipient of the Turkish Ministry of National Education.

He has published articles in Turkish and English in numerous domestic and international journals, including publications by Oxford University Press, and has delivered academic presentations and training at various universities and institutes in Switzerland. He has advanced proficiency in English and French and a good command of German.
