The October 2026 issue of the Competition and Regulation Bulletin, prepared by the Application and Research Center for Competition and Regulation at the Social Sciences University of Ankara, has been published.
This issue covers developments under five main headings: competition law and policy; information technology law and data security; digital markets and sectoral regulation; capital markets and economic regulation; and copyright.
Highlights include investigations and decisions of the Turkish Competition Authority, the principle decision on monitoring corporate email accounts, data breach notifications, the market analysis process for platform-based postal services, and regulations concerning investment funds. The bulletin also examines the Digital Copyright Bill submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.
